i've been really busy soaking up the sun and enjoying the terrible twos in my backyard. i've been going to the library, playing with friends who have visited, and staying at my grandma and grandpa's house in whitby for the odd weekend. my neighbour, a very sweet lady named pearl, takes me for walks with her dog bo bo. i wake up almost every day asking to go see her.

i am talking very well now. i can easily form five word sentences, and have no problems pronouncing the tough "f" sounds and "fr" sounds. i'm able to recognize at least half of the letters in the alphabet, if asked to. i can even point out my name.

here i am on one of my walks with pearl and bobo.

and more backyard playing. novelty still hasn't worn off that little car.

these ones of mommy and me were taken at the zoo this past weekend.

as you can tell, i spend a lot of time in the backyard. today was no exception.

i call this series, "me eating watermelon."

and now you're all caught up!

uh-oh. mommy's favourite saying has rubbed off on me.

i've been a regular little parrot lately, and mommy and daddy have been taking full advantage. they've got me saying, "awwww yeeeah," and they think it's absolutely hilarious. check out the video!

i've been very busy, playing hard in my new house. the snow has been cleared, but we still have mountains of it on our lawn. mommy, daddy and i have been out walking (with me in the stroller), and i've even gotten to stay overnight with my grandma and grandpa for a night in whitby! i wanted to show you some of the cute pictures of yours truly, taken yesterday and today. hope you like them!

lately, i love wearing hats in the house. this ball cap is particularly cute.

the mirror in mommy and daddy's room provides me with infinite entertainment.

here i'm trying to catch a glimpse of the snow removal machines outside.

i did finally pass out from all the excitement, though only for a few minutes.

daddy couldn't resist snapping this one this morning. i didn't think it was all that funny.

i still have a serious thumb-sucking habit, especially when i'm tired.

you got something to say about it?

this is one of my favourite "ham" faces.

i was very happy indeed...

... until i realized it was nap time.

we are in our new house! i'm so happy to have all this extra space to run around. mommy and daddy have been very busy with unpacking, but i've been having a great time.

my vocabulary is expanding really quickly. i'm starting to put two and sometimes even three words together. soon, i will be talking in full sentences. you watch!

i've got a few pictures to show you from the last few days in our new house. hope you enjoy them.

here i am standing in my new kitchen. my room is just behind me. very convenient, for those middle-of-the-night snack runs.

it has snowed a lot over the last week. here i am enjoying it in my new backyard.

i've got a new favourite game: slamming the door on mommy.

i hope you enjoyed these. more to come in the very near future!

i told you i would try to update more regularly! here are a couple of pictures mommy took the other day at lunchtime.

hope you enjoyed these!

i was sick yesterday, throwing up all morning and not wanting to eat for most of the day. i haven't been very hungry today, either, but at least i've managed to keep what i've eaten down. mommy thinks i've got a bit of the stomach flu.

there's lots of packing going on over here. my room looks pretty empty - only a few toys and books left for me to play with until we move. it's hard to believe we'll be in our new house in less than a week. it's very exciting to say the least. even with all he packing mommy and daddy have been doing, they've managed to get some great pictures of me. check them out!

these were taken the other night.

i look like daddy in this one.

i call this one, "quinn-in-a-box."

daddy and me hanging out, just before my room got packed up.

i love my daddy, and he loves me!

of course, reading is still my favourite activity.

my latest favourite: "hop on pop."

pretty much any dr. seuss will do.

hope you enjoyed these. i will try to update more frequently, since i know a lot of my fans are not on facebook. bye for now!

this first video shows me trying to walk around in my daddy's gigantic shoes. i have to admit, it's pretty entertaining. watch and see.

now this next video was taken on new year's day at my grandma and grandpa's family get-together. i just could not get enough of my second cousin, ashlyn. i followed her around all day trying to hug and kiss her. she didn't seem to mind at all, as you see in the video.

my friend JR was over yesterday, and mommy got this great video of me hugging and kissing him. i guess you can tell - i absolutely love babies!

and the other night, daddy captured me laughing my head off while reading the cat in the hat with mommy.

my vocabulary is expanding rapidly. some of the words i can say are:

truck (i've mastered the "tr" sound - though it usually involves some spit spray)
train
up
car
down
baby
pee pee
poo poo
book
milk (meeelk!)
teeth
moon
hot (hawww)

there are more, but i can't think of them all right now.

i thought i'd post a couple of pictures, since i haven't done much of that lately.

i got into mommy's purse the other day when she wasn't looking...

...and made a couple of calls on her cell phone. daddy later heard me babbling on his voicemail.

this is my new favourite face. i go around the house all day with this face on.
mommy has been trying to capture it for ages.

i am still the same old ham you know and love.

don't i look so grown up these days?

here's a nice one of me with my grandma. we love reading together. okay, i admit it. that's a photo album we're "reading."

yep, i'm still that same old ham.

hope you enjoyed these!

Aside from Mommy and Daddy snipping off random bits of my baby mullet periodically, my golden locks had yet to meet a pair of scissors - until today!

Mommy and Daddy took me across the street to the place where Daddy gets his hair cut.

At first, I was a little nervous.

But then Daddy found a way to distract me.

So here I am getting all psyched up. This is as good a "before" pic as any.

Okay, so here is the haircut itself in full swing. Do I look a little pensive?

If there's one thing you must know about me, it's that I'm handsome.

And I'm done! Check out the new short style! No mistaking me for a girl now!

Maybe I'll do this again sometime.

i'm sorry for not updating sooner. i have been busy running around, going to the park, teething and learning new words.

i want to share a few of my latest pictures with you. i hope you enjoy them. we won't be updating as often in the next few weeks, but please do check in. mommy and daddy will try and post as much as they can. now on to the pictures!

mommy caught me out on the balcony again this morning.

here are some from yesterday at diner called "motorama." mommy took them with her cell phone.

i've been talking up a storm lately, saying "bebee" (baby), "daw" (dog), "wowwwww," "more," "peepo" (one of my favourite books), "beebos" (guess what this is), and any word mommy and daddy ask me to say. i'm still doing my usual barking at everything in sight, and i have recently become obsessed with babies. i start yelling "bebee" every time i see a little person, even if they're bigger than me! when mommy asks me, "who's mama's baby?" i point to myself and say, "bebee! bebee!" yes, i am quite entertaining. daddy says it's all over now because i can open doors. i say it's just beginning! just think of all the stuff i can get into now...

more of my bottom teeth are coming in finally. there is about 1/8 of an inch visible of one of them, and i've been licking it like crazy.

as usual, i have a bunch of pictures for your viewing pleasure. these have all been taken in the last week to ten days. the park photos were taken today. enjoy!

i very rarely go anywhere without "doggy" these days.

the grimace: i make this face whenever i'm displeased about something.

posing for mommy.

using all my might to lift my piano. this is another of my regular faces these days.

here i am climbing through that tube thingy at the park.

here's daddy and me, preparing to make our descent on the slide.

mid-slide.

two happy guys greet the camera.

hope you enjoyed these!

i apologize if this video has been posted in so many places. mommy is just so proud of me, she wants me to get maximum exposure. wowwwwww!

i've been pretty busy this summer. we've visited parks and wading pools, and as you know we went camping. i haven't been able to post the camping pictures, because mommy and daddy got a new computer and still have to get some of my pictures off the old one. i will post them soon, i promise.

for now, here are a couple of pictures taken in the last couple of weeks.

sporting some diaper bling at the local wading pool ;)

i was having tons of fun with the ball.

doing some reading. notice the monchichi mommy got on ebay in the background.

more of my favourite pastime.

mommy was playing around with some effects on these next few.

yep, i do love reading!

here's a classic video of me, taken about a year ago. if you listen closely, you can hear me let out a squeak near the end.
